Great book till the end

I loved this book and was ready to give it 5 stars, but I like books to have an ending. If a book comes to an end and there is a sequel, I'll read it, but if a book just stops, I won't. This book has no ending. Yes the book stops, in the middle of a conversation. I guess the author thinks you don't read a book every 6 months and will remember that conversation.

Good idea, poor execution

The premise of this book is an intriguing one but unfortunately that is all that is good about it.
My biggest problem with Ghostly Guardian was the conversations were so unrealistic and silly. It seemed as though the author was channeling a five year old's idea of conversation with the over pronounced southern drawls and stuffy old English diction of her characters.
Each situation her characters were placed in was so punctuated with unreal conversations and either extreme reaction or none at all, that as a reader, you became frustrated. In fact, it was truly a struggle to get through the book.
The fact that this is the author's first book is painfully obvious. I recommend a good editor and maybe sitting at a coffee shop and listening to real conversations between actual adults.

Ghostly Guardian is the name of the volume

I'm not sure why this shows up in my library as "Make Me a Real Girl", the name/title of the book I got was Ghostly Guardian (Volume One) The Demon Isle Witches. At any rate, I've read a lot of paranormal books and while this one was not full of grammatical errors as some are, this book was just too trite, the writing perhaps a bit amateur. I'm sorry to say this is only the second Kindle Book I've removed from my device without finishing.
